Elijah started his YouTube show when he was 9 years old, together with his Dad, who plays the puppet monkey, Crumpet. They now have over 200 videos and a worldwide following on several social media channels.
The aims of their advocacy work are varied and include to inspire new and future parents, show the world what people with Down syndrome are capable of, show the fun we have as a family and really show Elijah"s worth and potential to contribute to society.
In doing this we do our part to influence popular culture and ways of thinking, helping to overturn decades of misinformation and ignorance which served to devalue people living with Down syndrome.
