For the first time ever, Jijo confidently talks about his life, decisions and his dreams! After all, #WeDecide is the theme of #WorldDownSyndromeDay 2020.
Being a budding artist/illustrator with Down Syndrome, we’ve never seen Jijo speak so much with such clarity on the things that make his life. After all, his mom (Moushumi Das) and his school (Spastics Society of Karnataka, Bangalore) have been relentlessly carving him to communicate confidently. And after so many years of him taking small steps and never giving up, this moment is a very special one – especially when he is the designer behind the graphics of the official “Lots of Socks” for #WDSD20! Hope this video helps you know more about his world from the man himself.
As his family, we do everything we can to make him live his dreams like we did. We provide him the exposure, education, fun and skills that help him become the person he intends to be. This channel celebrates all the special moments that make him the most beloved member of our small family!
