WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY

Category: World Down Syndrome Day
Subcategory: World Down Syndrome Day
Description from video
We provide a wide range of fun learning activities to help children and young people, aged 0 – 18 with Down Syndrome to develop key skills. We presently support 55 children and young people and their families from across the North East (UK). Our activities give children and young people with Down syndrome the opportunity to build friendships within peer groups as well as support their development in reaching their full potential. We supports parents and the wider family to get to know each other, providing a vital friendship and peer support network for families. Our service also works hard to raise awareness and promote positive perceptions about Down syndrome within mainstream schools, local communities and the workplace. We have made this video as part of our World Down syndrome Day (21 March) preparations and we hope you enjoy watching it.Videos from other categories
